Delete Your MicroGPT Account

This page explains how you can delete your MicroGPT account and all associated data. MicroGPT is published by MeteorMeta ("we," "us," or "our").

1. Delete from the App (Recommended)

The fastest way to delete your account is directly from the app:

1. Open MicroGPT and go to the Profile tab.
2. Tap the Delete Account button.
3. Confirm deletion when prompted.

This immediately and permanently deletes your account and all associated data from our servers, including your profile, characters, and likes.

2. Delete via Email

If you cannot access the app, you may request deletion by email:

1. Send an email to [email protected].
2. Subject line: "MicroGPT Account Deletion Request"
3. Include the email address associated with your MicroGPT account.

We will process your request within 7 business days.

3. Data We Remove

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:

• Your user profile (username, email, display name, bio)
• All characters you created or published
• All likes and engagement data
• Your authentication credentials

Local data (downloaded models, chat history stored on your device) is not affected by account deletion. You can clear this by uninstalling the app.

4. Data Retention

We do not retain any personal data after account deletion, unless required by law for fraud prevention or legal compliance. Any such retained data is stored securely and deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary.
